Funeral and Memorial Services

All too often, families discount the value of ceremony after the death of a loved one, and we certainly don’t want you to make that mistake. Coming together after a loss is a very essential part of the grieving process.

Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel offers many different services. Our experience has prepared us to help, to reassure, and to understand when a family faces the loss of a loved one. We are here to replace confusion with calm, doubts with certainty, and questions with answers. Here, one finds a quiet gentleness in an atmosphere of dignity, efficiency and trust. We believe your service choice is a personal decision. At Salser & Dillard we explain the options available, then allow you to make your own decisions.

Create Healing Experiences

Create Healing Experiences

In the depth of early grief, you might think that it would be ‘easier’ to just take care of things as simply and as quickly as possible. But easier – especially in this circumstance – simply isn’t better. You must set the stage for the future by giving your family and friends the opportunity to start the healing process.

Funeral Services

Traditional Service

Every family is different, and not everyone wants the same type of funeral. Funeral practices are influenced by religious and cultural traditions, costs and personal preferences. These factors help determine whether the funeral will be elaborate or simple, public or private, religious or secular, and where it will be held. They also influence whether the body will be present at the funeral, if there will be a viewing or visitation, and if so, whether the casket will be open or closed, and whether the remains will be buried or cremated. Among the choices you’ll need to make is whether you want one of these basic types of funerals, or something in between.

Limited Graveside Service

Limited Graveside Service

Designed for those who want a ground burial or interment of either a casket or an urn containing cremated remains with a service only at the cemetery. Itemized options may be selected at the family’s discretion.

Memorial Service

Memorial Service

The same as a traditional service, except the body is not present for the visitation or the funeral. Often considered by those selecting cremation, but it is not limited to those who prefer cremation.  The private family viewing explained above also applies here.

Cremation Services

You Can Never Go Back and Do it Over

Some say it’s harsh to remind you of this, but we know we must. We want you to honor your loved one in a way that allows you to look back, years from now, and be thankful that you did the best you could to honor their life. Creating a ceremony that calls together the hearts and minds of all who loved them is a gift to everyone involved. A gift of memories, a gift of healing...a truly priceless gift of peace-of-mind.
