Virginia Pelaiz Ramirez

In loving memory of Virginia P. Ramirez of Visalia, CA passed away March 5, 2021 at the age of 75. Virginia was born on June 5, 1945 in Visalia, CA. Virginia's husband, Bob, was quick to respond to her cardiac arrest through CPR which allowed loved ones to visit her at Kaweah Delta Hospital before her passing. Virginia retired from the Tulare County Early Childhood Education Program after 30 years of service. She loved working with the pre-school children in meeting their nutritional needs. Virginia had many friends from both her work life and church membership with the Apostolic Assembly. Virginia was married 61 years to Bob Ramirez. Bobby and Virginia met in New Idria Mining Camp California as children and shared many adventures together. Their adventure in life continued when they reunited as adults and married. Virginia and Bob created new adventures with their three children and later with their eight grandchildren. Their adventures included many camping trips to the Diablo Mountain Range, California Beaches, and Sequoias National Park. Virginia's memory will live on through her children and grandchildren as they retell the many wonderful camping trip stories to the 15 great grandchildren Bob and Virginia share. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Maria Pelaiz, and siblings Estela Lopez, Joe Pelaiz, Hortencia Hernandez, Delia Donaldson, Jesse Felix, and Ignacio Pelaiz; grandchild Matthew Ramirez and great grandchild Joel Albert Ramirez. Virginia is survived by her husband, Bob Ramirez, children Helen & Louis Aviles, Albert & Laura Ramirez, and Robert Ramirez; grandchildren Michael Aviles, Vanessa Tercero, Gabriel Ramirez, Joel Ramirez, James Ramirez, Telisha Ramirez and Bobby Ramirez; siblings Manuel & Patty Pelaiz, Tony Pelaiz, Elaine Morentin, Connie Pelaiz; and many beloved nieces and nephews across the state of California. Memorial services will be held 4pm Friday, March 19th, 2021 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
