IN LOVING MEMORY OF STEPHEN "STEVE" WATKINS Stephen Watkins , 71 of Visalia , California , passed away unexpectedly in June while visiting Disney World, Steve was a beloved husband, loving father, proud Pop Pop , little brother, uncle, and loyal friend, whose presence brought joy and laughter to those fortunate enough to know him. Steve was a hardworking man who was dedicated and proud to provide for his family. He was a skilled master mechanic by trade in the automotive industry, worked for Tobyhanna Township , and spent many years as a truck driver. In his retirement he was a member of the Visalia Gleaning Seniors. In his younger years Steve enjoyed spending time outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He had a true passion for motorcycles. Together Steve and his wife shared many adventures as members of the Triple C Riders Motorcycle Club creating lasting friendships and many memories along the way . He also enjoyed playing golf and softball , attending baseball games ,NASCAR events, and horse races with his children, as well as cheering on his favorite sports teams from home. Above all , Steve was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with those he loved. He enjoyed family road trips, fun at the lake, making memories together, and simply being surrounded by his loved ones. Steve was the kind of person who never met a stranger, his friendly nature, great sense of humor, and genuine kindness allowed him to make friends wherever he went. He often was the life of the party. Steve was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Doris , his brothers David and Eddie. He leaves behind his loving wife Judie of 41 years, their 7 children along with his many beloved grandchildren, his sister Carole, extended family members, and many dear friends who will forever cherish his memory. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday July 11,2026, 4:30pm at 12747 # D Ave 271, Visalia. Family and friends are invited to come together to share memories and celebrate Steve's life. Though he will be deeply missed his legacy, love, hard work, and devotion for his family will never be forgotten. Steve's laughter kindness and love for his family will continue to live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
