Stanley Dale Van Der Veen

Stanley Dale Van Der Veen, born March 30, 1948, to John and Nellie Van Der Veen, passed away on February 9, 2026, in the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In his younger years, Stan hauled hay in Chino, California, for Dairyland Hay. It was there that he met the love of his life, Diana. They were married on December 16, 1978, beginning a lifelong partnership built on faith, hard work, and devotion to family. Stan and Diana later moved to Lemoore, California, where he worked for Verhoeven Feed hauling grain. Soon after, his father, John, started him in Van Der Veen Livestock Hauling. Stan hauled cows for many years, serving most of the dairymen throughout the San Joaquin Valley. Known to many as "Stan the Man," he built a reputation for reliability, integrity, and a strong work ethic. In his late 60s, he retired from trucking and spent his remaining years enjoying time with family and close friends. Stan faithfully served his church family at Tulare Community Church. He served two terms as an elder and assisted with church planting. He was a humble, selfless man who loved Jesus with his whole heart and soul. Above all, Stan loved his family. He will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, and generous heart. Stan is survived by his beloved wife, Diana; his children, John and Rachel Jacobi, Jeremy Monacelli, and Johnny Van Der Veen; and his grandchildren, Austin and Vanessa Nyenhuis, Noah Nyenhuis, Payton Monacelli, Patricia Monacelli, Dakota and Cameron Stephenson, Blake and Brooke Jacobi, Morgan and Anthony Woods, Logan Jacobi and his fianc�e, Ava Vander Poel; and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Pat Vander Veen; nephews Ron (Kelly) Vander Veen and Rob (Anneke) Vander Veen; niece Debbie (Ron) Doek; and his Aunt Sis (Minke Iest). Stan was preceded in death by his parents, John and Nellie Van Der Veen, and his brother, Ralph Vander Veen.
