It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Solem Martinez, who entered into eternal rest on July 14, 2026, at the age of 33. Solem was born on February 9, 1993, in Chicago, Illinois. She was a bright, kind-hearted woman who embraced life with joy, creativity, and a spirit of adventure. She found happiness in crafting, exploring new places, and making lasting memories with those she loved. Above all else, Solem cherished her two children, Joziah and Madilyn. They were the center of her world, and everything she did was motivated by her love for them. She dreamed of giving them every opportunity to experience life, encouraging them to travel, grow, and pursue bright futures. Solem also shared a beautiful love story with her husband, Jovany Deloera. They began dating on November 5, 2013, a day that would become a meaningful milestone throughout their lives together. Six years later, on November 5, 2019, they became engaged, and on November 5, 2022, they were united in marriage. Solem was deeply in love with Jovany, and their relationship was built on love, friendship, loyalty, and unwavering devotion. Together they created a life filled with laughter, cherished memories, and a family they adored. The love they shared will forever remain an enduring part of her legacy. Solem graduated from Golden West High School and aspired to become a teacher. She had a genuine passion for helping children learn and hoped one day to teach Sunday school at her church, where her faith was an important part of her life. Her caring heart, gentle spirit, and desire to serve others reflected the love she carried for God and her community. Those who knew Solem will remember her warm smile, adventurous soul, and the little things that made her uniquely herself-her love for a cold glass of milk and her favorite meal of fried fish. These simple joys, along with her unwavering devotion to her family, will forever be cherished by those who loved her. Though her life was far too short, Solem leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, compassion, and hope. She will be deeply missed by her beloved husband, Jovany Deloera; her treasured children, Joziah and Madilyn; and all of her family and friends whose lives were forever touched by her kindness and love. While our hearts ache in her absence, we find comfort in knowing that the love Solem gave so freely will continue to live on through her family and in the countless memories she created. Viewing will be held 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM Thursday, July 30th, 2026 at Walnut Grove Assembly of God Church, 32576 Road 160, Ivanhoe. Funeral services will follow at 5:00 PM. Graveside services will be held 9:00 AM Friday, July 31st, 2026 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
