Sandra Lee Mealy

Sandy Lee Mealy, 57 years of age, passed away on December 6, 2023. Sandy was born on February 12, 1966, in Marysville California to Carl and Shirely Hill. She was the youngest of four children. Sandy graduated from Exeter High School in 1984. She gave birth to five children, Kimberly Ann Macedo, Kinsey Elizabeth Sivas, Anthony Machado Macedo, Jonathon Edward Macedo, and Brendon Lee Gonzales. She and her husband Joseph Mealy adopted Hannah Lee Mealy on November 22, 2019. She married the love of her life and soulmate Joseph on July 13, 2014. They had many terms of endearment, but they most often said to each other "you are my favorite", meaning favorite thing on this earth. Sandy worked as a jewelry salesperson for Roger's Jewelry Co. for 7 years before she became a caregiver and Healthcare Specialist for the Kern High School District providing services to children with special needs. She absolutely loved her job. Sandy was pursuing her bachelor's degree in special education with the intention of becoming a Special Education teacher. She maintained a 4.0 GPA while attending Liberty University. Sandy excelled at everything she did and loved to give and to serve others. Her home was always clean, and no one was allowed to wear shoes in the house. Sandy's favorite color was white. She loved to workout, cook for her family, and go to Disneyland and the beach with her husband. She was in the process of moving into her forever home in Lake Elsinore with her husband by the end of 2023. Sandy loved her children and grandchildren dearly and was overjoyed when she spent time with them. Sandy was a devout Christian and loved the Lord. She strived to serve and honor Him in every area of her life. Sandy was always smiling, laughing, cleaning, and doing things for others. She lit up the world with her smile, beauty, and grace wherever she went. Sandy is survived by her husband of 9 years, Joseph; 6 children including Kimberly, Kinsey, Anthony, Jonathon, Brendon, and Hannah; and 8 grandchildren. Graveside services to be scheduled.
