Richard "Dick" Wright

Wright, Richard (9/18/76-05/13/18) On Sunday May 13th, 2018 Richard "Dick" Wright, Husband, Father, Son, Brother and life of the party, passed away. He is survived by his best friend and wife Theresa Wright, his oldest son Mason "Jay" Wright, his daughter Eva Wright, his youngest son Deacon Wright, brother Larry Wright, sister Nova Wright, brother Richard "Scooter" Wells, father Richard Wells and many other friends and family members. He will join his mother Catherine Wright beyond the clouds. Richard was an avid lover of animals, music, motorcycles, and his wife and kids. He would never hesitate to rescue a stray or spend an evening playing just the right music for the mood. He could never say enough about how proud he was of his three children and their incredible talents. Richard had no love or passion stronger than that for his "good hearted woman", partner in crime, and best friend, Theresa. She is the Bonnie to his Clyde, and they took each adventure life threw their way together as one. To know Richard was to know his love for her. He was always the first to admit he was better because she was his. Richard was a biker through and through. He loved to ride with Theresa and his band of brothers/sisters from the VCA. There wasn't an adventure they wouldn't take together and they found a new passion for life when he met the VCA family. They, in turn, have never left him or his family since. There aren't enough words to describe a "simple man" like Richard. He will be missed in more ways than he would have ever imagined. His life, legacy and love of sarcasm will live on in his wife, children, family and friends. We cheer you brother with a cold one in hand. Godspeed as you ride the highway to heaven. We love you. MLH&R A viewing will be held on Wednesday May 23rd from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The Memorial Service will be Friday May 25th at 4:00 pm. Both viewing and services are being held at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel located at 127 E. Caldwell, Visalia, CA 93277. Immediately following the service Friday afternoon, we will take Richard for a ride to the Valley Cycle Association Clubhouse for his final celebration. Kickstands up around 5:30pm.
