Ray B Lopez

Ray B. Lopez, known as dad and grandpa, was born January 4, 1930 and passed away July 8, 2024 at the age of 94. Ray was born in Lake Arthur, New Mexico. He resided in the city of Visalia since he was 17 years old. He worked for the city of Visalia and Solid Waste and worked for Iskandarian Farms as a farm laborer. He enjoyed gathering with family no matter what, even through the difficult times, he never hesitated to be involved. He definitely played a role model as a father figure to all his grandchildren's lives. He taught his children and grandchildren endlessly about true values and morals and the meaning of being there for family. He enjoyed gardening, exercising, listening to music, and playing the lottery. Ray Lopez is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco Lopez and Amelia Barella, his wife Marcela Lopez, his loving companions Becky and Patricia, his siblings Raymond, Paula, Frank, Josephine, Georgia, Johnny, Alex and Tony Lopez, his grandchild Julian Jr. Montoya, his great grandchildren Julian III Montoya and Adrian Aguilar. He is survived by his siblings Cruz, Johnny and Manuel Lopez, his three children Linda, Juanita and Ray Lopez. He has 20 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren. He will be remembered as a father, grandfather, and friend to those who were a part of his life. He will always be remembered for his special smile, his caring heart, that warm embrace he always gave us, being there for us through good and bad times, no matter what. We'll always remember you because there'll never be another one to replace you in our hearts, and the love we will always have for you. Visitation will be held 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 31st, 2024 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Homily of Prayers services will be held 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM Thursday, August 1st, 2024 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Thursday, August 1st, 2024 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia. 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia.
