Ramon N. Quintana May 14, 1954 - July 3, 2026 Today, our hearts are heavy as we mourn the passing of Ramon N. Quintana-a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He left us peacefully on July 3, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Ramon was born on May 14, 1954, in Durango, Mexico, to Romulo Quintana and Ramona Nevarez. He was raised in Tijuana, Baja California, before migrating to Visalia, California, in his late teens-a place he would come to call home and where he built a beautiful life rooted in hard work, love, and family. He was preceded in death by his father Romulo Quintana, mother Ramona Quintana; his brother, Serapio Quintana; and his niece, Maribel Cortez. Ramon is survived by his devoted wife, Alicia Garcia; his children, Ramon Quintana Jr., Roberto Quintana, Reynaldo Quintana, Rogelio Quintana, Rosita Jimenez, Ruby Quintana, Lucero Castillo, Veronica Baza, and Alejandro Hernandez; sister Teodora Cortez, brother Baltazar Quintana along with 37 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 8 nieces and nephews, and countless extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory. Known affectionately as "Pops" to so many, Ramon was a man loved far beyond his family circle. For years, he dedicated himself to the restaurant industry, where he had a rare gift for making everyone feel welcome, valued, and cared for. To his coworkers and customers alike, he was more than a familiar face-he was a friend. Above all else, his greatest joy was his family. He brought people together his home was the place to be. Whether at Christmas and New Years or at one of his many barbecues- everyone was welcome. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of his life; nothing made him smile more than sharing time with them, talking about them, and watching them grow. Though our hearts ache because we weren't ready to say our final good byes, we find comfort in the memories he gave us, the lessons he taught us, and the love he poured into those around him. Thank you, Pops, for everything you did for us. Until we meet again. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Rosary will follow at 6:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial services will be held 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM Saturday, July 25th, 2026 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 608 N. Church Street, Visalia. Graveside services will be held 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM Saturday, July 25th, 2026 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia.
