Phyllis Ann Luna

Phyllis Ann Luna, 64 of Tulare, California, died on March 08, 2018, in Visalia, California. Phyllis was born to Pasqual "Pat" Luna and Cecelia Sanchez on June 14, 1953 in Fresno, California. Soon after being born in Fresno the family moved to East Los Angeles. About a year later they relocated to San Gabriel where she spent her childhood and part of her young adult years in La Puente. She then moved to Tulare Ca in the late 80's. Here's where she created so many more memories with family and friends. No matter where life took her she managed to always impact the people around her. Phyllis worked as an administrative assistant for Friant Water Authority for over 23 years. Prior to this she worked in Downtown Los Angeles at First Interstate Bank. Phyllis enjoyed being with family, watching the Raiders and continuously watched 48 Hours on TV. She loved listening to music and her favorite actor was Johnny Depp. She showed us all that family is the most important aspect in life through her actions such as bringing family together for a reunion, dancing the night away with her loved ones, being there for any of us that needed a helping hand, or just being there to listen. Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Darlene Martinez (Eric Cruz); daughter, Eileen Cardon; brother, Robert Pasqual Luna; sister-in-law Ada Luna, sister, Patsy (Abel) Gonzalez; grandchildren, Isaac and Savannah Martinez. As well as Andrew, Tim, and Ashanae; Great-grandchildren, TK and Vincente; 12 Nieces and Nephews; Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pat & Cecelia Luna and sister, Pauline Mier. Phyllis will truly be missed by all. Visitation will be held 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Thursday, March 15th, 2018 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia with the Rosary prayed at 6:00 PM. Memorial Mass services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, March 16th, 2018 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 125 E. Pleasant Avenue, Tulare. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
