Patsy Ruth Williams

It's not very often in life one can say that another impacted their life so greatly that they were a better person because of that person, that their life was changed simply by knowing that person, yet everyone who was blessed to be able to know her, would say this about Patsy Ruth Williams. Born October 29, 1929 in Little Rock, AR to Bryan and Audrey Beam, Patsy, more often known as Pat or Nana to her family, would often tell those she met that she was born on the most depressing day in history, yet she was anything but. Full of life, love, and pure joy, Patsy's main focus in life was to make sure that everyone, not just her family, but EVERYONE was happy, healthy, and taken care of. From Taco Tuesday nights at Nana's with the entire family and friends to annual Pismo Beach vacations hosted in houses to hold 20 so everyone who wanted to come was welcome, Patsy had a true gift for taking care of not just her family, but everyone she met. There was never a time that Patsy's home, that she made with her surviving husband of almost 70 years, Calvin O' Williams, known to most as Tipp, wasn't full of laughter, light, and most importantly love. With 1 surviving brother- David Beam, 4 surviving children- Tamara Doyal, Kimm Manley, Regan Williams, and Rick Williams, 13 grandkids plus spouses, 28 and counting great grandkids, and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and of course all of the friends turned family along the way. Not just holidays, but every day was a full house filled with fun and memories in the making, and Patsy would have had it no other way. Family to Patsy though, extended beyond blood. As a strong woman of faith, Patsy served and took care of her church family as her own. With a heart of humility, she was the shining symbol of selflessness, giving all that she had, without even a second thought, even if all she had to give was her grace and guidance. From hosting weekly women's Bible studies in her home to years of teaching tiny minds at a Christian Private school, Patsy's passion for people- knowing them, loving them, and helping them- touched more lives, saved more souls, and truly impacted more people than one would think possible in a single lifetime. Although Patsy's lifetime here on Earth ended September 26, 2021, and her family and friends will forever miss her, her legacy, her laughter, her love will live on in the many lives that were blessed simply by knowing her, the many that were changed because of her. Patsy Ruth Williams, 91 of Visalia, California, died on Sunday, September 26, 2021, in Visalia, California. Patsy was born to John William Bryan Beam and Audrey Maxine Baker on October 29, 1929 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Visitation will be held 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Wednesday, October 6th, 2021 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Graveside services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, October 7th, 2021 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
