Michael Jeffrey Fee

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael "Mike" Fee, devoted father and husband, on June 20, 2026. His quiet presence will be deeply missed. Mike was born on November 22, 1949 in Defiance, Ohio, to the late Helen and Andrew Fee, and was the youngest of five children. After high school, he joined the U. S. Navy, and ended up stationed at NAS Lemoore, California. One Friday night, while cruising Main Street in nearby Hanford, he met the love of his life, Kathy. Four months later, they were married and later established a home in Visalia. It was there that Mike became the proud and loving father of his only child, Angela. A man of few words, but always a hard worker, Mike was employed as a Production Supervisor at Beckman Instruments in Porterville for 33 years. Not content to retire just yet, he worked several more years at Able Industries in Visalia before finally retiring in 2019. Family meant everything to Mike. He was happy having a cookout with family and friends around, loved to swim, and even went whitewater rafting a few times with his daughter. He really enjoyed going fishing with his buddies every year. Mike especially treasured time spent with his beloved Ohio family, and visited there as often as possible. A faithful Christian, Mike was an active member of Grace Community Church for over 30 years. He would often go with the group to Uruapan, Mexico to volunteer at Mount of Olives Orphanage. Mike is survived by his cherished daughter, Angela Fee of Los Angeles, California; his former wife, Kathy; his sister, Peggy Keener of Columbus, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Lou Wernicke and Kathleen Fee, and brother Donald Fee. The family gives special thanks to Mike's good friend, Mike Pelkey of Visalia, who helped enormously during Mike's hospital stay. Dad, we love you and miss you, and hold strong to the belief that we will see you again... A Celebration of Life may be planned at a later date.
