Mary Louise Sandoval

Mary Louise Sandoval, 81, of Farmersville, California, She was born on September 18, 1944, in Corpus Christi, Texas and passed away peacefully on August 20, 2026, following a short but courageous battle with cancer. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, cousin, and friend. She was married to her beloved husband, Trinidad E. Sandoval, and together they built a family filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Mary was blessed with two daughters, three sons, 20 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren. Among them, her three special great-grandchildren, Andrew, Luka, and Presleigh held a particularly special place in her heart and brought her some of her greatest joys. Mary dedicated more than 20 years of her life to working at L.E. Cooke Nursery. After retiring, she found what she considered to be the best job she could have ever had-being a grandmother. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved caring for them, taking them to school, picking them up at the bus stop, attending their school functions, and simply being there for all the little moments that meant so much. She gave her time, her love, and her heart freely. Each grandchild held a special place in her heart, and she created a unique and lasting bond with every one of them. To Mary, being a grandmother was more than a title-it was one of the greatest blessings of her life. She loved watching her family grow and took great pride in every accomplishment, every milestone, and every moment shared together. Mary was known for her quick sense of humor, her direct and often hilarious comments, and her ability to make everyone around her feel special and loved. She had a way of bringing laughter into everyday moments and leaving people with stories they would remember for years to come. Her honesty, strength, humor, and unmistakable personality made her one of a kind. She could make you laugh, tell you exactly what she thought, and remind you that you were loved-all in the same conversation. Mary was always very proud of being a Texan. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, she carried her Texas roots and the love for her beloved Dallas Cowboys. Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Trinidad E. Sandoval; her son, Ricardo Sandoval; her brothers, John Quiroz and Al Callejo; and her grandchildren, Edward Andres, Steven Sandoval, and Cambree Freeman. She is survived by her two daughters, Guillermina (David) Andres and Sally Freeman; three sons, Victor (Lisa) Sandoval, Arturo (Lupe) Sandoval, and Gonzalo Sandoval; 20 grandchildren Byron, Brandon, Marissa , Ethan, Savannah, David, Patrick, Mark,, Danny, Esmeralda, Priscilla, Alex, Arturo Jr, Lucy, Michael, Bianca, Nathan, Ricardo, Vanessa and Yvonne; 26 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Carrie Quiroz; brother, Victor Garza of Corpus Christi, Texas; dear cousin Mary Ann Perez of Corpus Christi, Texas; along with many cousins from Texas, beloved nieces, nephews, and countless loved ones who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. The family would like to extend a special heartfelt gratitude and thank you to Dr. Rodarte, Marisela, and the staff at Visalia Family Practice for 25 years of their care, compassion, kindness, and dedication to our mother. The family would also like to express their deepest gratitude to her very dear friends, Olga and Lupe Gutierrez, who never left her side. Their love, friendship, and unwavering presence meant more than words can express, especially during her final days. Mary will be remembered for her loving heart, unforgettable sense of humor, honesty, strength, and the warmth she brought into the lives of everyone around her. She will be remembered as a woman who loved deeply, gave freely, laughed often, and made her family the center of her world. Though her absence will leave an emptiness that can never truly be filled, her love will continue through every child she raised, every grandchild she cherished, every great-grandchild she adored, and every person whose life she touched. Her family will carry her with them-in the stories they tell, the laughter they share, the traditions she created, and the countless memories that will live on for generations. Mary's greatest legacy is the love she gave so freely-and the family she cherished above all else. She may no longer be with us, but the love she gave us will never leave us. Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever remembered. Viewing will be held 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Thursday, September 10th, 2026 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Rosary will follow at 6:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial services will be held 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM Friday, September 11th, 2026 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 608 N. Church Street, Visalia. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 11th, 2026 at Exeter District Cemetery, 719 E. Marinette Ave., Exeter. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
