Maria Otilia Bradshaw

Our beloved mother, Maria Yanez Bradshaw, returned to her Heavenly Father on November 16, 2025, at the age of 89. Maria was born in Perris, California, on August 29, 1936, to Guadalupe and Josefa Yanez. She married Donald Rae Bradshaw on June 14, 1964, and their marriage was later solemnized in the Oakland Temple for time and all eternity. They made their home in Ukiah, California, where they lovingly raised their three daughters. Maria was a devoted mother, a faithful wife, and a friend to many. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and cherished her service in the Sunday School of the Spanish branch. She will be fondly remembered for her exceptional cooking-especially her homemade tortillas, which often drew neighborhood children to her doorstep. Hardworking and meticulous, Maria was known for keeping a home so spotless her friends joked you could eat off the floors. Despite many health challenges, she remained positive and continually served others with a bright smile. She had a playful spirit and a great sense of humor, often pulling gentle pranks on those she loved. Maria was blessed with seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy. Maria is survived by her three daughters: Karen (Londen) Smith of Utah; and Kathy Lillywhite and Cherie Bradshaw, both of Visalia. She is also survived by her sister, Ramona DePew of Perris, brothers Tom Yanez, Richard Yanez, and Smile Yanez, all of Perris. She was preceded in death by her sisters Mary Self of Perris, Nellie McGovern of Delaware, Jennie Gruff of New Jersey, Rose Kissinger of Perris, and Ester Johnson of San Jose; as well as her brothers Frank Nava and Richard Yanez, both of Perris. The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to the Infinite Heart Hospice Team of Visalia for the compassionate and loving care they provided to our dear mother. Funeral services will be held 9:00 AM Saturday, December 6th, 2025 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 650 N. Lover's Lane, Visalia. Graveside services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, December 6th, 2025 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
