Margarita Ruelas Nanez

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Margarita Ruelas Nanez, aged 70, of El Tigre, Jalisco, who peacefully departed on March 2, 2024, with family and friends by her side. Margarita is survived by her husband Juan Flores Nanez of Goshen, CA., and her children, Jose Luis Torres of Tulare, CA., Aurora Torres of Selma, CA., Sergio Torres of Visalia, CA., Erika Torres of Fresno, CA., Imelda Torres of Tulare, CA., Alma Veronica Acevedo of Goshen, CA., and Juan Jose Nanez of Goshen, CA., and their families. She was proud of all her children. She is also survived by her brother Jose Ruelas, and her sisters Maria De Jesus Ruelas, Rosa Ruelas, and Virgina Ruelas. Last, she leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren that she cherished. Margarita delighted in cooking, bringing joy to countless hearts. Her meals were a testament to her love, uniting family and friends in warmth and laughter. She enjoyed sewing and worked many years as a seamstress for a sewing company in Visalia, CA. She was dedicated to her work and always went above and beyond what she was asked to do. A lover of adventure, Margarita found solace in the mountains and joy in exploration. Margarita loved traveling with her husband Juan and she also relished the excitement of playing poker with her family and friends. In addition, Margarita loved going to church and being a part of her church community. Above all, Margarita cherished her role as a wife, mother, friend, grandmother and great-grandmother, showering her family and friends with endless love and affection. Though her passing was difficult, Margarita's memory will forever illuminate our lives with love, strength, and resilience. Rosary will follow from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 20th, 2024 at St. Rita's Catholic Church, 954 S. O ST., Tulare. Graveside services will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday, March 20th, 2024 at North Tulare Public Cemetery, 4572 North J. St., Tulare. A celebration of Margarita's life will be held afterwards at Evergreen Island in Tulare, CA., 2567 E. Bardsley Ave. from 12:30 PM-4 PM.
