Linda Kaye Land

Linda Kaye Marshall-Land, lovingly known by her family as "Nana Penguin," passed away on August 9, 2026, at the age of 78. She was born on July 3, 1948, in Bonham, Texas, and later made her home in Visalia, California. Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and caregiver. She spent more than 20 years caring for others, a reflection of the generous heart and strong spirit she carried throughout her life. She is survived by her daughter, Stacy Land-Donohew and her husband, Claude; her grandchildren, Kristen Taylor and her husband, Kyle; Brittney Donohew-Renteria and her husband, Oscar; Haylee Donohew; and Larissa Donohew; and her great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Donohew, daughter of Haylee, and Mateo Salazar, son of Larissa. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Edna Marshall, and several of her siblings. She is survived by her sisters, Shirley Reed and Louise Earp, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will carry her memory in their hearts. Linda had an amazing personality and a spirit that was uniquely her own. She could be loving, funny, and full of life-and if you happened to upset her, you definitely knew it! She enjoyed sewing, doing hair, watching gospel ministries and game shows, listening to the oldies but goodies, cheering on the San Francisco 49ers, and, most of all, spending time with her family and friends. Linda also leaves behind two beloved fur babies, Gracie and Cricket, who brought her much love and companionship. Those who knew and loved Linda will remember her for her unforgettable personality, her caring heart, her strength, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the memories she created will remain forever. A Life Rooted in Love "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
