Joseph Francis Berry July 4, 1969 - September 7, 2023 On September 7, 2023, Joseph Francis Berry III, passed away peacefully at his home in Shell Beach, California. He was 54 years old. Joseph or "Joe" was born July 4, 1969. True to his birthday Joe was a real fire cracker. Joe lived his life between two hometowns Visalia, California and Shell Beach, California. He attended Redwood High School in Visalia and graduated from San Luis Obispo High School. Joe was an accomplished athlete in the sport of Wrestling, Football, Boxing, and Bodybuilding, winning Mr. West Coast, and Mr. Central California competitions. His interest in Body Building was a life long passion. Joe enjoyed his work managing his real estate properties and found his niche these last few years. Relationships with community members and tenants kept him busy and brought him satisfaction. Following the death of his mother, Nancy, Joe devoted himself to the care of his father Joseph Francis Berry II, only leaving his side in death. A few years ago Joe reconnected with his high school sweetheart Stephanie and they were married soon after. Joe and Stephanie made the most of their time together always laughing dancing, singing, and traveling. Joe always insisted on a slow dance every night before bed. Music was not necessary. Joe is preceded in death by his sister, Sheri J. Cogburn and his mother, Nancy C. Berry. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Garcia Berry, his son Joseph Ausherman, father Joseph Francis Berry II, big sisters Carol Renee and Kimberly Ann, and little brother, Ramsey Matthew. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, but of course not to forget his beloved Frenchy's, Georgia Jean and Jasmine Lee. Visitation will be held 10:00 AM Friday, September 22nd, 2023 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel. Celebration of Life will be held 8:00 AM Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Graveside services will be held 9:30 AM Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
