John Arelleno Espinoza

John Arellano Espinoza (65) passed away peacefully on September 29th, 2024, with family lovingly by his side. Born April 27th, 1959, to Lorenza and Juan Espinoza, John spent his childhood in Corcoran, CA, with his five siblings, Lourdes, Blas, Otilia, Maria, and Fabian, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends in the surrounding Corcoran area. John was one of six siblings to attend and complete college. He attended Cal Poly University and earned a degree in Agricultural Engineering. He had a passion for his work and was highly skilled in his profession. John spent 45 years working in the dairy and agriculture industry, where he created meaningful working relationships with leaders, colleagues, and those he mentored. In 1984, John married Irma Renteria, whom he cherished as his wife and friend for 40 years. John also gained two daughters when he married Irma in 1984, becoming Barbie Ann Ramirez and Star Ramirez's bonus dad. John and Irma welcomed two children together: Valerie Espinoza in 1985 and John Espinoza in 1986. John was a hard-working man who put everything into helping farmers, dairies, and agricultural leaders succeed. He was brilliant and mechanically, mathematically, and technologically gifted. He was a man driven by his family and the ability to provide them with the best in life. John stressed the importance of education, hard work, good character, and moral virtue to his kids and grandkids. John retired in March 2020 and took being a "papa" to his grandkids very seriously. Being a papa was something that he honored and something that came naturally to him. He loved to spoil them with gifts and quality time, and he was known for making them pancakes at whatever hour of the day. In his retirement years, even though he was ill, he loved spending time with his wife. They would sneak off to the casino for date night, where he would play his "Treasure Troy's" and sip on a Bloody Mary. Together, they would enjoy eating out, spending time with family, and binge-watching shows. John was a man of noble character. He had dignity and many virtues. He was inquisitive and had a keen intellect that drove him to be the best in his pursuits. He was also kind to people and always valued people regardless of their social status. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. John is survived by his wife (Irma Espinoza), Daughters (Barbara Alvarado, Star Ramirez, and Valerie Espinoza-Ronk), son (John Adam Espinoza), grandchildren (Desiree Leon, Joey Silva, Andrew Silva, Brandyn Meeds, Hunter Ronk, Hazel Ronk, John Ronk, and Elliott Espinoza), mother, siblings, and many close cousins. John was predeceased by his father, John Espinoza. Funeral services are under the direction of Salser & Dillard, Visalia, CA. The viewing service will be held at Salser & Dillard on Thursday, October 10, from 4-7 p.m. The funeral service will be held the following day (Friday, October 11th) at Salser & Dillard at 12:30 p.m. John's final resting place will be at Corcoran Cemetary in Corcoran, CA, on October 11th, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
