Elizabeth Chavez

Elizabeth Chavez passed away February 12th, 2023 at the age of 63. Elizabeth was born January 28th, 1960, in Zaragoza Mexico to Carlos Rodriguez Guardado and Macaria Rubio de Rodriguez. She grew up in Zaragoza and then moved to the States with a student visa in 1971. Elizabeth met her love of her life Ruben; they went to high school together and got married in 1986. Elizabeth and Ruben loved to travel and go dancing. They welcomed their first child Ruben Jr. in October of 1992, then in 1993 they welcomed their second son Robert, and in October 1995 they welcomed their daughter Rianna. Ruben and Elizabeth shared a beautiful marriage for the past 37 years. Elizabeth cared for others deeply, she made a career as a Medical Assistant for 30+ years. Elizabeth and Ruben loved watching their kids play sports and traveling to tournaments every weekend. One thing Elizabeth loved most, aside from being Ruben's wife, was being a grandma, Nana is what she went by. Elizabeth was blessed with seven grandkids, she loved each of them so much, she grew a tight bond with each and created wonderful memories, each of them brought so much light to her day. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Ruben Chavez. Her sons, Ruben and Robert Chavez, and her daughter, Rianna Chavez. Her grandkids; Jazlyn, Aubrey, Jayden, Ezekiel, Lincoln, Prince, and Exavier. She will be missed deeply and remembered lovingly as a wonderful Wife, Mother, Sister, Nana, and Friend. We gained another angel and knew that Heaven is brighter with you there. Viewing for Elizabeth will be held on Wednesday March 1st at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel in Visalia from 4pm-7pm. Service will be at Salser & Dillard on March 2nd at 8:30am followed by the burial at 10:30am at the Visalia Cemetery 1300 W. Goshen Ave. Visalia. A Celebration of Life Reception will follow at 12pm at the Veterans Memorial Building 609 W Center Ave, Visalia, CA 93291.
