Elizabeth Ann Bartzick

Elizabeth Ann "Betsy" Bartzick, 78, of Visalia, CA, passed away on September 18, 2023. She was born on January 24, 1945, in Mt. Vernon, New York. Betsy lived a life guided by faith, humility, and an unwavering love for her family. Betsy was a devoted member of her community, finding solace and strength in her religious beliefs. She was a cherished attendee of St. Mary's and St. Charles in Visalia, Visalia First, and Most Holy Trinity in New York. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing her with comfort and guidance. Throughout her journey, Betsy embraced the roles of a loving homemaker, a dedicated mother, taught religious education and was an office manager at a veterinarian clinic in Larchmont, NY. She approached each responsibility with grace and dedication, ensuring that her family and those around her were cared for. Betsy's love for her family knew no bounds. She leaves behind her daughters, Catherine "Tina" Azevedo (Andy) and Lisa Tripicchio, as well as her grandchildren, Michael Azevedo (Silvia Saucedo), Daniel Azevedo (Letecia Huard), Anthony Tripicchio, and Lisa Marie Zamonsky (Corey). Her great-grandchildren, Nolan, Blake, Kylie, and Brody, were a source of immeasurable joy and pride for her. Her long time companion, Antonio DiCarlo. In her leisure time, Betsy found joy in exploring new places, dining out, and indulging in her passion for shopping. She had a few loved and cherished lifelong friends that shared many laughs with her. She rescued many stray cats over the years giving them a safe and happy home. These simple pleasures brought her happiness and enriched her life. A funeral mass to honor Betsy's memory will be held on September 29, 2023, at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Church, located at 608 N. Church St, Visalia, CA. This sacred gathering will allow family and friends to come together in prayer. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to Valley Oak SPCA.
