Edmundo Cano

Edmundo "Mundo" Cano, 42, passed away on December 10, 2022. Mundo was born on January 10, 1980, to Rosa and Sergio Cano. He was a Visalia resident for most of his life and Tulare resident since 2018. Mundo is survived by his wife, Maribel Cano, and his four young children, Jazlene, Chase, Xander, and Aria Cano; his mother, Rosa Cano, his brother, Oswald "Ozzie" Cano, and many in-laws; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and a great-nephew. Mundo was predeceased in death by his brother Eraldo "Nene" Cano. Mundo was a very ambitious individual who persevered and wanted more in life. He left Redwood High School to start working and excelled in his career in Grocery Management. He recently earned his Retail Management Certification, while working for WinCo Foods. His passion and dedication to his family and career were always apparent. Anyone who knew Mundo felt his big heart and infectious laughter. His uniquely rambunctious laugh is still heard by those who knew him. His love for his family was immeasurable, they were his top priority. He strived to please them by all means necessary, therefore putting his needs last. He loved travel and was a big fan of football, and a bigger fan of the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raider Nation has lost a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. There is a Black Hole in all of the hearts of those that were fortunate enough to have known him. He had a deep passion for MMA along with other combat sports, as well as having trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Wrestling. Mundo will be greatly missed by many, especially his family. Viewing will be held 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Wednesday, December 28th, 2022 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Rosary will follow from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, December 29th, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 608 N. Church Street, Visalia. Graveside services will be held 12:00 PM Thursday, December 29th, 2022 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia. There will be a Celebration of Life immediately following graveside at the Visalia Veterans Memorial from 2:00 - 5:00PM, 609 W Center Ave. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
