Donna Marie Wright September 19, 1937 - February 24, 2026 Donna Wright, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026, at the age of 88. Donna was born on September 19, 1937, in Deer Lodge, Montana, and was raised in Billings, Montana, where she attended Catholic school and developed the strong faith that guided her throughout her life. She went on to attend the University of Montana, graduating with a degree in liberal arts. It was there that she met the love of her life, her soulmate and best friend, Don Wright. They were married on October 29, 1960, beginning a remarkable 65-year journey filled with adventure, hard work, devotion, and deep love. Together, Don and Donna built a beautiful life centered on family. They raised three children - Cathy (Dave), Brian (Kristen), and Shari (Adrian)-instilling in them strong values, resilience, and unconditional love. Their children remain deeply grateful for the foundation and example their mother provided. Donna cherished her role as a grandmother. She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Rachel and Mitchell (Brian), Sydney and Eric (Shari), and Andrew, Corry, and Lizzie (Cathy). Each held a special place in her heart and brought her great pride and joy. In 1970, Don and Donna took a leap of faith and moved to Visalia, California, where they opened their own card and gift business. Through determination, long hours, and true partnership, they built a thriving enterprise. In 1984, they opened Wright's Hallmark, which became a beloved and respected Visalia tradition. They worked side by side for 47 successful years before retiring-true partners in both business and life. Donna treasured her many friendships. She enjoyed lively games of bridge, a nice glass of white wine, and meaningful conversations. Her faith was central to who she was; she faithfully attended church each week and drew strength and comfort from her belief. Donna will be deeply missed by her loving husband Don, her three children, her seven grandchildren, extended family and the many friends and community members whose lives she touched. A Funeral Mass celebrating Donna's life will be held on March 10th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Visalia, California. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
