Damian Alexander Calvo

Damian Alexander Calvo was born on January 22,1995 to Daniel and Katherine Calvo of Visalia,Ca. Damian was our greatest blessing, introducing us to parenthood. Damian was the oldest of five siblings. He was the first to attend and complete college. He attended Azusa Pacific University and earned his Bachelors in Nursing. He was also a member of Sigma Theta Tau. He had a passion for his work and was highly skilled in his profession. Damian dedicated his life to helping others. After graduating from Azusa Pacific University Damian began his nursing career at Kaweah Delta District Hospital, where he worked on 3W ICCU for 2 years. He then ventured into being a traveling nurse in Santa Rosa and San Francisco. His dream of working for a prestigious hospital became a reality in 2023 when he began working for UCSF. From a young age Damian filled our hearts with so much love and happiness. He loved being outdoors camping or playing for countless hours on the beach. Damian had a passion for swimming and soccer. He was always so at peace when he was in nature. Damian also possessed an artistic talent. Whether it was doodling on a piece of paper or spending hours on a canvas he would paint whatever his heart and mind envisioned. His passion for music took him on numerous fun filled adventures singing and dancing with friends who became family to him. His love for his siblings and family was larger than life itself. Damian always put his family first, often canceling plans with friends or postponing them so he wouldn't miss out on what was going on, because we all know Damian suffered from 'FOMO" Fear of missing out. He would make sure to be apart of everything that was going on around him. Damian was known for his enormous heart and his carefree spirit. He was so adventurous never fearing having to go on a trip or adventure alone. He was so confident in himself that he would be ok and have a wonderful time..and he did. Making friends along the way wherever he was at. People didn't even have to know him personally all they had to do was be around him and they were just drawn to him. Damian was called to heaven on October 1, 2024. He is survived by his father and mother Daniel and Katherine Calvo of Visalia, Ca., three sisters Faith Journey Calvo, Ammerie Gabrielle Calvo and Danni Caillat Calvo, and one brother Devin Zane Calvo. Along with an abundance of family and friends. Our lives are forever changed by his passing but he will forever remain in our hearts. "For God so loved the world that HE gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in HIM should not perish but have everlasting life" John 3:16 Visitation will be held 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Wednesday, October 9th, 2024 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Rosary will follow from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Service Of Remembrance services will be held 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM Thursday, October 10th, 2024 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia.
