Carol Sue Albaugh

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and friend, Carol Sue Albaugh, 76, of Visalia, California. She passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026, and was surrounded by those she loved most. Carol was born on November 7, 1949, in El Dorado, Kansas, to Howard and Dorothy McCaslin. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength and the deep love she had for her family and those closest to her. During her high school years, Carol proudly served as captain of the cheer squad. She especially enjoyed spending time with friends at the drive-ins, where good conversation and a favorite limeade made some of her happiest memories. She later became part owner of Kaweah Crop Care and dedicated time helping with the family-owned business, Albaugh Ranch. She finished her career of 26 years at Sage Software as a Knowledge Content Specialist. Outside of work, Carol had a passion for photography, and she loved trips to the beach. She had a deep interest in genealogy and found great joy in learning about her family's history and preserving those connections for future generations. She enjoyed time in the desert, specifically for Baja racing. She was also a NASCAR fan and rarely missed the excitement of a race. Above all, Carol treasured her family. She is survived by her sons, Travis Albaugh and Curtis Albaugh; daughter-in-law Kelsey Albaugh; her beloved grandchildren Hannah, Brooke, and Brayden; great-grandson Dutton; and her close friend John. Her love for them was constant, and the memories they shared will be cherished forever. She was preceded in death by her father Howard McCaslin, mother Dorothy McCaslin, brother Howard McCaslin Jr., and brother Bob McCaslin. Carol will be remembered for her love, her kindness, and the way she cared for those around her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved and remembered by all who knew her. In keeping with her wishes, no formal services will be held; her family will celebrate her life privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions are encouraged in Carol's name to the Tunnel of Towers Foundation. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
