Brock Steven Robertson March 24, 1952- June 29, 2024 On June 29, 2024 Brock Steven Robertson beloved husband, father & grandfather went to be with the Lord peacefully at his home in Visalia California. Brock is survived by his loving wife Cheri of 26 years, his three children Melissa (Tab) Mello, Blake (Kasey) Robertson & Britnee (Jesse) Arnett, his 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Brock was born in Fresno California to Doyle & Maxine Robertson. They moved to Visalia when Brock was very young, where he graduated from Mt. Whitney high school in 1970. Brock loved cars and going fast. As a child he was known by all the kids around his block to have the fastest mini bike and go carts, which he built and worked on himself. As he grew up that love of cars, continued into high school and his beloved GTO hot rod that was frequently seen doing burn outs in the Mt. Whitney high school service drive on campus. Brock had many jobs as a young man from flipping burgers, washing cars to selling advertising for the Visalia Time's Delta newspaper. He knew that he wanted to be in the automotive industry because of his love for cars. He attended COS where he excelled in sales and marketing. In 1979 Brock opened Hanford Tire Co. and was known as D.I. (Dealing Instructor) Brock. He quickly became the go to guy in the Valley for all the coolest and latest wheel & tire packages. Brock loved racing and in 1993 he and his son Blake opened BR Motorsports a mail order Sprint Car parts supply company. He loved Sprint Car racing and it showed by the dedication and hard work he put into BR Motorsports. In 2008 Brock & Blake opened King Racing Products a Sprint Car manufacturing company. Brock was instrumental in developing and designing new products at King Racing Products. Brock retired in 2020 from the companies but was always popping in to tell stories with employees and customers. Brock's true love was his family. He married the love of his life Cheri in 1997 in Visalia California. The two met one Friday afternoon at the Vintage Press when some friends introduced them and they haven't been apart since. Brock and Cheri's love for one another was easily seen around the community whether at a fund raiser or birthday party, they were always together and in love. In 2008 Brock and Cheri became members at the Visalia Country Club. This sparked their interest in Golf. Brock was an all in type of man, it didn't matter if it was racing, golf, cards or rolling dice he wanted to be the best and win! The two became staples at the VCC playing golf and winning the couples member tournament multiple times. Brock loved Golf and especially with Cheri. Brock was the true Patriarch of the Robertson family, teaching us all the importance of being together and continuing family traditions. Brock loved his grand kids Katelin, Rilee, Kolbie, Kameron, Sara, Brock, Ally, Brady, Ryann, Austin, Ethan and 1 great grandchild Leo. All the grand kids loved their papa Brock. Brock is proceeded in death by his parents Doyle & Maxine Robertson, and grandson, Bradyn Robertson. There are heroes and then there are legends; Heroes get remembered but legends never die. Brock Robertson is a true Legend & will live on in the hearts of his family & friends forever
