Anthony Carbajal

On January 27, 2024, Anthony Carbajal died at the age of 46 after his battle with an aggressive cancer. Anthony was born in Los Angeles, California, on November 13, 1977, but grew up in Mexico. He attended the University of Guadalajara to obtain his degree in veterinary medicine and he graduated in 2001. After graduating, Anthony moved back to the United States where he took a job at Valley Vet as a veterinarian assistant. Meanwhile, he set a goal to obtain his degree here in this country so he could work as a vet. He worked hard and in 2017 he was able to reach his goal. His family was extremely proud of his accomplishment. In 2018, he partnered up with other veterinarians and they opened up their own cat and dog hospital, Sequoia Veterinary. Anthony met Teresita when they were teenagers. He married her in 2003. In 2006, they moved to California. After 13 years of marriage, God blessed them with their first son, Christopher in 2016, and their daughter, Celeste in 2017. He was a loving father and husband. He was honest, responsible, and always aware of the family's needs. He enjoyed hunting and the beach was one of his favorite places to visit. He was a man who loved his family, animals, and being in contact with nature. Faith and God were at the core of his being. Anthony will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His caring nature, courage, and honesty will be remembered and cherished by all those touched by his presence. May his soul rest in peace. Viewing will be held 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Wednesday, February 14th, 2024 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Rosary will follow from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, February 15th, 2024 at St. Rita Catholic Church (New), 1051 Morrison St, Tulare. Graveside services will be held 12:00 PM Thursday, February 15th, 2024 at North Tulare Public Cemetery, 4572 North J. St., Tulare. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
