Annette Yvonne Bonner

Annette Yvonne Chrisman Bonner of Visalia, CA passed peacefully at her home at the age of 83 on August 30, 2025 surrounded by her family. Annette was born on March 8, 1942 to Lee Marion and Gwendolyn Celeste Chrisman of Clovis, CA. Annette had three brothers who predeceased her, Don, Ronnie, and Gary Chrisman. Annette attended Clovis Schools including Clovis High School where she met the love of her life Everett Bonner. They married on July 6, 1959. Everett and Annette moved to San Diego soon after they married where Everett was stationed in the Navy. While Everett was at sea in the Pacific, Annette was in San Diego expecting her first child and in 1960, Alesia was the first addition to their family. Soon after Kathy(1962), Doreen(1963), and Eileen(1965) came along. After Everett's service, the family moved to Kerman where Everett was employed at Nobles Cattle Co. Everett eventually studied for his teaching credential at Fresno City and Fresno State College. Soon after, the family moved to Dinuba as Everett got his first teaching job at Washington Jr. High. Everett and Annette raised their girls in the small town atmosphere that they both loved. Annette worked in the local fruit packing sheds, and at SunMaid Raisins. After their girls married and left home, Everett and Annette moved to rural Dinuba, where they had a small ranch with horses. They enjoyed riding horses in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada. They loved their ranch and the wide open spaces, and were able to enjoy fun family gatherings. They loved camping, traveling in their 5th wheel along the California and Oregon coast. They also loved camping in Kings Canyon Park as they were involved with their daughters' local girl scout troop. Annette had more time now for her hobbies of sewing and quilting. She made many beautiful quilts for her daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Everett passed on March 31, 2023. Annette spent her last years with her daughters and grandchildren, going to the Central coast, shopping, having lunch, going on cruises, and getting a pedicure. Annette was one those people who was loved by everyone that knew her. She had a quiet, strong spirit that led her through life's challenges and blessings. She loved her family and had a strong bond with all of them. Annette became ill with Leukemia in January of 2022, and passed away from the illness August 30, 2025. Through this ordeal Annette remained the quiet positive person we all love. Annette is survived by her four daughters, Alesia Kiper(Steve), Kathy Guenther(Ben), Doreen Barnes(Nathan), and Eileen Wray(Jeffrey), 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren!
