Anna Marie Munoz

Anna Marie Munoz was welcomed into Heaven by her Lord and Savior on January 31, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on February 4, 1947, in Visalia, California, to Antonio and Eunice Salcedo, Anna was the oldest of six siblings and earned the nickname "Queenie." She is survived by her devoted husband, Eddie Munoz; her four beloved children, Dyana (Michael) McCrea, Louis Rodriguez Jr., Pamela Carrillo, and Denise (Daniel) Ybarra; and her stepdaughter, Ericka (Zenaido) Trevino. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Sean, Louis III, Joali, Josiah, Alyssa, Joe, Vincent, Daniel, Liliana, Logan, Mason, Nate, and Lincoln. She was also blessed with her precious great-grandchildren Nathaniel, Mateo, Avyanna, Xavier, Christian, and Henry, with another blessing expected in April. She is also survived by her siblings Barbara Salcedo and Jesse Salcedo. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Eunice Salcedo, and her siblings Rebecca Duran, Diana Salcedo, Antonio Salcedo Jr., and Patricia Moreno. She was proud to have earned a bachelor's degree in management from St. Mary's College of California. She retired as an analyst with the California Department of Corrections after more than 20 years of dedicated service, where she was respected for her diligence, integrity, and commitment. Anna's life was rooted in her love and faith in Jesus Christ. She faithfully read her Bible each day and trusted the Lord to guide her steps through every season. Her faith was unwavering and bold, shaping the way she loved, forgave, and cared for her family. It was the foundation of her strength and the light she carried within. A woman of strength, grace, and unmistakable style. She loved to read, garden, cook, dance, travel, and shop. She had a true passion for shoes and the latest fashion trends, and her presence at Nordstrom was so well known that she was recognized by name and proudly carried the title of "Nordy Girl." She loved skincare and took great pride in always looking her best. Her Coach handbags were never far from her side, and she carried herself with elegance and confidence. She also had a deep love for her cats and was devoted to giving them the very best care. Anna enjoyed traveling, from Mexico and Spain to cherished short trips to Reno and the California coast. Northern California held a special place in her heart and was where she felt most at home. Her laughter, wisdom, strength, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed. Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find peace in knowing she is now in the presence of the Lord, restored and whole. Her legacy of love lives on in her family and in every life she touched and every generation she helped shape. Viewing will be held 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM Friday, February 20th, 2026 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Service Of Remembrance services will follow at 4:00 PM.
