Sharon Claudine Hitt Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Sharon Claudine Hitt went to heaven on November 11, 2021 with her daughter by her side. She was born on April 10, 1943 to Chester and Nell Wright. She grew up in Goshen, Ca and attended schools, later graduating from Mt. Whitney High School. She soon after met Doug, and they married and made a home in Goshen, Ca. She was an active member of the Neighborhood Free Will Baptist Church for many years. She worked at Jostens where she made life long friends whom she cherished. After retirement she loved to shop, go to yard sales and thrift stores. Mostly she loved to spend time with her family. Being a grandma was her greatest joy and she was the most loving, kind, special grandma. The children all adored her, and she will never be forgotten. She was truly the heart of our family. We will never forget all she taught us. Every day we will have an empty place in our lives but she will always be in our hearts. We all love you "mom, "grandma", "granny". You will forever be missed. Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Doug, baby girl Kimberly Joy, parents Chester and Nell Wright, brother Steve Wright, sister Kay Cunningham, great nephew Nathan DeHaven, and of course her dog Corky. She left behind daughter Wendy and husband Steven son Jeff, son Dustin and wife Teri. Her grandchildren Lacey Frutoz and husband Tony, Derek Murphy and wife Niki, Dylan Welsh, Logan Hitt, Bailey Hitt, Connor Hitt, niece Michelle Sheppard, nephew Michael Sheppard and wife Margie, nephew Paul Wright, special great nieces Savanah DeHaven and Makenzie DeHaven. Great-grandchildren Tony Jr III, Stephany, Jesse, Trinity, Madison, and Khloe. Visitation will be held 10-12pm Monday, November 22nd, 2021 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia with Funeral services to follow at 12pm. Graveside services will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia.
