Ramona Gallardo Franco Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

On the afternoon of June 19, 2022, Ramona Gallardo Franco passed away peacefully among her close family and loved ones. She lived a very full and wonderful life with her large family always by her side. She was fabulous 99yrs young! Ramona grew up in California almost her entire life. She was a homemaker who truly enjoyed cooking for her kids and grandkids. Her hobbies include crocheting, playing Poker on the slot machines and of course Bunco! She was in several local groups where they played Bunco together monthly. During her younger years, Ramona gave back to her local community of Visalia. She was a Junior Catholic Daughter and dedicated every Monday at Sister Ursula's Kitchen in the thrift shop. She loved to help in any way possible. She was also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church since moving to Visalia in 1978. The biggest joy in Ramona's life had to be spending time with her daughter JoAnn and her many grandchildren. Nothing gave her more joy than helping with bath time, hearing her grandchildren laughing, picking them up from school, teaching them how to cook & sew. She also had a funny love for hearing the grandbabies cry. She was the true matriarch of the family and the memories and gifts she gave them will live on in their hearts forever. All who met her loved her warm hugs, beautiful smile and sweet red lipstick kisses on the cheek! She will be greatly missed. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Anastacio Gallardo & Adelina Montoya, brothers, Manuel Gallardo, Tacho Gallardo, Frankie Gallardo, Alfonso Delgado, Jesus Miranda and sister Victoria Udave. She is survived by her sister, Lupe Negrette, brother, Henry Delgado, three children, Manuel Garcia of Oakland, Richard (Mary) Garcia of Oxnard and her daughter, JoAnn (Michael) Malony of Visalia and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Rosary will be recited on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 6pm-7pm at Salser & Dillard Creighton Chapel, Kingsburg. Funeral service to be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 9am at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, Visalia with a burial at Visalia Cemetery at 10:30am. Reception to follow at Neighborhood Church, Visalia. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
