Mitchell Deshawn Patterson

Mitchell DeShawn Patterson, known as "Poochie" to his Michigan family, passed away on September 21, 2022 at the age of 53, in his hometown of Tulare, California. His battle with cancer in recent months showed his courage and strength, while facing life challenges with a continuous smile. Despite his excruciating pain and suffering, Mitchell remains a Hero, he fought hard even until the very end and never once complained. As a child, "Poochie," a nick name given to him by his mother, was born and raised in Detroit Michigan on July 28,1969. He enjoyed playing football and hanging out with the kids in his neighborhood, most of which he remained in contact and considered them family. As he grew older, he and that same group of fellas got together and started a club promotion and DJ Company, known as Mo Betta Tracks. There he was in charge of the lighting and sometimes security. When he wasn't hosting a party he was either doing upholstery or working at a local store. Mitchell met the love of his life, NaQuitta, on June 12, 2000 at the River Rock in Michigan. A short time later he moved to California were she gave him half of her life and he gave her the rest of his. They raised two children Daryl and Qyncee and the four legged member know as Lady. He enjoyed detailing cars, cooking, maintaining his yard and spending time with friends and family. Known throughout the Sunrise Community as someone who always kept a smile on his face, a willingness to help, giving sound advice to the youth and operated with great Respect and Integrity. He was a God fearing man who never met a stranger (Sunrise will never be the same). He is predeceased by his parents Earl Edward and Lee Ethel Patterson, Brother Curtis Lamont, and Nephew Kejana Norris. Mitchell leaves behind the remaining family to carry his legacy and keep his memories. Soul Mate NaQuitta Camille, Children Daryl DeShawn and Qyncee Lee Patterson, 2 Mother-in-Laws, 5 Brothers, 6 Sisters, 10 Nephews, 8 Nieces, a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends. He will forever be Loved and always missed. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, October 6th, 2022 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia.
