Marleen Louise Clark, 60, passed away on March 10, 2022, in Tulare, California. Marleen was born to Edward Neel, Sr. and Georgiana Hazelton on October 29, 1961, in Visalia, California. Marleen grew up in Tulare, California and graduated from Tulare Union High School. She went on to earn her Associates Degree in nursing. While she loved the field of nursing, her real passion was working with elementary children as a teacher's assistant at Garden Elementary in Tulare. Marleen was blessed with a large family. She married the love of her life Charles Edward Clark, Jr. on Saturday, June 29, 1991, in Tulare, California. Together they raised three children, Rhonda, Shane, and Mark. Marleen raised her three children to be loving, kind, and resilient. She took so much pride in watching her family grow and flourish and never skipped an opportunity to tell them how proud she was of their accomplishments. Marleen's greatest love in life was her grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as Nana. Whether it be late night sleepovers, walks around the block, or massive plates of homemade food, Marleen's love for her grandchildren was undeniable. She always made sure to go above and beyond for her family. Marleen was a bit of a firecracker. She was always known for speaking her mind, and you never quite knew what would come out of her mouth next, which usually made for a good laugh. She will forever be remembered for her sense of humor and laughter. Marleen is preceded in death by her husband Jr., her mother Georgiana, and her father-in-law Charles Edward, Sr. Marleen is survived by her children, Rhonda (David) Andrada, Shane (Kayla) Clark, and Mark (Julie) Clark; her grandchildren, Skyler, Jett, Charlee, and Dominic; her father Ed Neel, her mother-in-law Jean Clark; her sister Laurie Neel and brother Edward Neel, Jr. and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Graveside services will be held 12:00 PM Monday, March 21st, 2022 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
