April 17, 1958 - April 17, 2021
Kirk Alan Myers, 63, was born in Tulare California on April 17, 1958 to Wava and Kenneth R. Myers. Kirk was called home into the arms of his heavenly father, on April 17, 2021 in Clovis, Ca. surrounded by his wife of 42 years, and his children. He was uplifted and celebrated with the kind of love and compassion he gave his family. Kirk graduated from Tulare Union High School ('77) and then met his future wife Loretta, they were married on August 4th, 1978. Kirk and Loretta raised their five children in the community of Waukena, California where for the next 45 years he established his roots as a career farmer. Kirk cherished his family, "Family is the most important thing" he would say, and his love was shown through all his actions that celebrated his children. With his wife and children, Kirk shared his love for camping, fishing, and boating. He was known as "Papa Kirk" to 4 beautiful grandchildren with whom he shared many cherished memories. Kirk was an active member in his church, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic parish. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #6008, and served as a 4th degree Knight under the Fr. Dade Assembly. Kirk was very active in the Waukena community and served for 10 years as a Waukena School Board Trustee, where his children attended school. He was a member of the Waukena Volunteer Fire Department for some 16 years. He was a steadfast figure at the World Ag Expo for over 30 years, where he served as volunteer at the East Office. Kirk never knew a stranger, his gift of "gab" and outgoing personality made him memorable to everyone he met. He found reward in being a good friend, cherishing and reliving happy memories from years past and making more memories in the future. His family will feel a great void with his absence but will continue the legacy he started and cherish it for years to come. Kirk is survived by his wife Loretta, children Tiffani (Bart) Treis, Clarissa Myers, Erik (Catalina) Myers, Rebakah (John) Felix, and Alanah Myers.
