Juan Ricardo Romero, Sr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Juan Ricardo "Rick" Romero Sr. of Visalia went to be in the presence of the Lord at the age of 58, on January 8, 2022. Rick was born on April 5, 1963 in Laredo, Texas to Candido and Florencia Romero. Rick had a passion for working on cars and serving his community. For 40 years Rick worked as an Automotive Technical Specialist throughout the central valley. He built a reputation within the community and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He could often be found at local shops sharing some jokes, spreading love and enjoying a cup of coffee. Everyone was family to Rick and he always made sure you knew that. Every encounter would end with his famous words, "In case nobody has told you today: I love you Brother," or "I love you Mija." Rick's passing leaves a huge void in our lives, but our memories with him will live on for generations. His Love for the Lord and sharing of the Good Word, gives us comfort in knowing that this "Good Bye" is temporary and we look forward to the promise of everlasting life. Rick was preceded in death by his father Candido Rivera Romero and his siblings, Dolores "Loli" and Tony Romero. Rick is survived by his mother Florencia Romero, wonderful wife of over 30 years Annabell Romero, daughter Josette Romero Guzman (Anthony), sons Marcus Anthony Hernandez Jr. and Juan Ricardo "Ricky" Romero II (Christina). Being "Papa Rick" was one of his biggest honors in life and his legacy lives on through his grandchildren: Sofia Guzman, Nathaniel Marcus Ray Hernandez, Jessalyn Nevaeh Renteria and Gabriel Azriel Sinohue. He is also survived by his 5 sisters, 2 brothers and many nieces/nephews: Martin Romero, Laura Garcia (Martin), Martha Garza (Eddie), Ana Myers (Randall), Sarah Valdez (Roy), Diana Lara (Raymond), and Daniel Romero. The family would like to extend their sincere Thanks and Gratitude for all expressions and acts of Kindness that have been shown during this time. The family has been incredibly humbled and blessed. Visitation will be held Friday January 28, 2022 from 4PM-6PM and Service at 6PM at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel 127 E. Caldwell Ave, Visalia CA. 93277.
