Jimmy Don Morris

Jimmy Don Morris, 69 of Exeter, CA passed away on Dec. 3, 2013 surrounded by family. Jim was born Oct. 17, 1944 in Glendale CA to Beamon and Zelma Morris. Jim moved to Visalia with his wife Glenda and son Michael in 1974 and in 1977 welcomed son Steven. Jim was very active in his church where he was in the choir, Royal Ranger Leader, also Sea Scout. Jim was a field support for AOS office systems for 10 years and then for Riso office system and traveled the 14 western states from 2000 until he retired in 2006. He enjoyed family gathering at his home, boating, fishing, and having his grandchildren around. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years Glenda Morris of Exeter, son Michael Morris of Exeter, son Steven Morris and daughter-in-law Aapril Morris. Four grandchildren Chace, Mikey, Makayla and Skyler, and his mother Zelma of Visalia who is 88. He is preceded in death by his dad Beamon, brother Jerry Morris, Three Rivers sisters Vikki Wright Visalia, Beverly Brackett of CA Hot Springs. A memorial service with Military Honors will be held at 7 PM on Dec 12, 2013 at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be e-mailed to [email protected].
