Jerry J Delgado

November 13, 1963 - April 20, 2021

Jerry J. Delgado, 57 years young passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by those he loved most on the land he loved. He lived in Visalia his entire life. Jerry served his country proudly as a Marine from 1983-1986, his service later inspired his youngest son to serve in the United States Marine Corp. Jerry was deployed to Japan, Philippines and Korea. It was during his deployment in the Philippines that he met and married his bride Mindy Delgado in 1986. He went on to have 3 children whom he was very proud of: Jerry Jr, Stacie, and Tristan. He provided for his family by working for the postal service for 30 years. Jerry had the chance to walk his daughter Stacie down the aisle, he had the chance to hold his first grandchild Lily Rose, and in his final weeks on this earth, he was able to watch as his youngest son Tristan get married. Mike Mehaffey remained Jerry's one and only best friend, meeting in Palms, CA, while in the Marine Corp. Jerry lived a very humble life, he had a big heart and gave to others generously. Those who knew him know that he was very private, but he was always ready to help when needed. His one and only hobby was taking care of the land he loved so much which was passed down to him by his mother Annie Delgado. He loved being on his tractor with his dog "megatron" and spending time with his family. He was the rock of his entire family. He was, in short; a great papa and will be missed every second of every day. We love you papa. Rest in peace Marine.
