Javier Hernandez Perez
May 5, 1939 - March 17, 2021
Javier Hernndez Perez was born to the late Francisco Hernndez and Aurora Perez de Hernndez in Michoacn, Mexico on May 5, 1939. He immigrated to The United States at 18 years of age in search of Opportunities with his strong work ethic, will and determination to succeed. Initially arriving in California, he ultimately settled in New Rochelle, NY with his beloved late wife Carmen Victor and the mother of his two children Aurora and Javier. Javier Hernndez Sr. was a noble man; he lived his life with three core principles: FAMILY, FAITH and HARD WORK, to provide for his children and his family. Don Javier is so beloved by ALL his Family, because he always emphasized the importance of Family in his actions. He lovingly raised his children with their mother, Carmen, and consistently worked long days to ensure they would know all the possibilities that his long labor would afford. Even while living in NY, he made sure that distance and time would not sever the close ties he held with his large extended family in California and Mexico. He was a Husband and consistent Provider to his dedicated Carmen, a "Daddy" to his Daughter Aurora, PaPa and a strong role model of manhood and strength to his son Javier Jr., a much favored Tio, Primo and Hermano to his Family members and Suegro/ Father in Law to his Son in Law, John, with whom he shared a close bond. He held to his Christian Faith throughout his life and raised his children in the church. His beliefs never wavered and he was a part of a large Christian community when he lived in NY as well as when he settled in California after retirement. His Faith brought him great comfort and community throughout his life. A member of New Rochelle, NY's Local 60 Chapter of Construction Laborers, he valued hard work and took Pride in being a self- made man. Our Don Javier will be remembered for so many things: above all strong character, his Family ties, and his willingness to DO for those he loved and cared for. Javier Hernndez Sr. is survived lovingly by his ever devoted children Aurora Hernndez- Sanchez and Javier Hernndez who will continue to feel their father's presence throughout all of their lives. He is also survived by a Brother Jose Hernndez Perez and a sister Josefina Hernndez de Rodriguez, loving Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, and large extended family, in Mexico, NY, CT and California. He is preceded in death by his wife and the beautiful mother of his two children, Carmen who's loss continues to be mourned deeply by all, with whom he will ultimately be laid to rest in Mexico. Don Javier... May you Forever Rest in Paradise. Descansa en el Paraiso. SIEMPRE Te Extraaremos y SIEMPRE celebraremos Tu VIDA.
