Hilaria Euphemia Johnson

September 16, 1957 - November 7, 2021

Hilaria Johnson, or as most knew her "Yaya" age 64, went home to be with the Lord on November 7th 2021. Yaya was born on September 16th 1957 in Hanford Ca to Pedro and Rachel Guajardo. Yaya was often found laughing, telling jokes, or smiling for all to see. She brought happiness wherever she went and could light up a room whenever she walked in. It was not hard to find her at a celebration because often times she would be the loudest one, making sure all around her were laughing too. Yaya loved praising God and she was not afraid to share this with anyone and everyone she met. She often shared her church experience with the Dialysis team members, the community where she lived and the Dr's and Nurses. She was found singing and praising God even in the midst of her pain. She praised God right up until the Lord called her home. Yaya is survived by her two daughters, Euphemia Ojeda and Monica Chapman (Brandon Chapman), her two sisters Rachel Rodriguez, and Mary Gonzalez, her two brothers Pete Guajardo (Carol Guajardo), and Steve Guajardo, her 5 grandchildren Anthony Pena, Shelbi Ojeda, Kobe Velasco, Devon Rodriguez, and Ashton Rodriguez. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins. She is proceeded in death by her son Raul Rodriguez, her parents Pedro and Rachel Guajardo, her brother Johnny Guajardo, her sister Linda Arzola, her nephew Jonathan Rodriguez and her brother in law Juan Rodriguez. Yaya will truly be missed by all who knew her and loved her. Inurnment will be held 1 PM - 2 PM Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021 at Tulare Cemetery, 900 E. Kern Ave., Tulare.
