Frankie Lee Hilderbrand

OBITUARY Frankie Lee (Jacobsen) Hilderbrand was born on January 18, 1936, in Bakersfield CA to Frank and Madge Jacobsen. She attended Catholic school there. Later she attended Newberry Park Academy. She met the love of her life, Vernon Travis Hilderbrand in a chance meeting, but they quickly fell in love and were married. They established their home in Bakersfield, surrounded by an orange grove. They transferred to Arroyo Grande, CA in 1966. There they were active with their kids and the Pathfinders. They loved the beach community, and it was still small enough to know your neighbors and wander around. Frankie and Vern were transferred in 1982 to Visalia, CA. Frankie always LOVED Christmas, it was while living in Visalia, she found her dream job with House of Lloyd. She worked for Christmas around the World, a division of House of Lloyd for over 18 years. Frankie and Vern were able to travel and enjoy this time. Many lifelong friendships developed and continued through Christmas around the World. She is survived by her husband of over 66 years, Vernon Travis Hilderbrand. Their children, Pico (Mark) Griffith and Scott Hilderbrand. Their grandchildren, Ashley (Chris) Palmer, Travis (Alana) Griffith, and Kristen (Kiel) Taylor. Their great grandchildren: Kaydence, Kinley & Kyler Griffith Jaden & Noah Palmer and Kolby, Kensington and Kennedy Taylor. Her brother, Ted (Billie) Jacobsen. Their children, Jennifer Jacobsen, David (Sherri) Jacobsen, great niece and nephew, Carter & Ella Jacobsen. Prayer Service will be held 11 AM - 1 PM Monday, December 20th, 2021 at Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1310 S. Woodland St., Visalia. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
