Ciasha Marlene Jauregui Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

On January 14, 1989, Ciasha Marlene Jauregui was born in Portsmouth, Virginia to Anna Marie Jauregui and Carl Clayborn and passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 19, 2022, in Visalia, California. Those who knew Ciasha knew she had several nick names such as Cee, Cee Cee, Marley and Marley Mar, because for some, her name was too difficult to pronounce. Ciasha was the only child of Anna Marie and because of this, she easily made friends wherever she went and they soon became her sisters and brothers. Ciasha grew up in Exeter where she attended local schools and in high school she became a cheerleader. In 2007 she graduated from Exeter High School. She grew up with the Willms sisters, Renee, Teircie and Sam who lived around the corner from her, and often spent the night at each other's home doing what young girls do at sleep overs. As an adult, Ciasha attended Milan Institute of Cosmetology and San Joaquin Valley College. She held several different jobs as a licensed hair dresser; licensed medical assistant, waitress, hostess and customer service rep. She had many friends and was kind and generous to all of them. She showered them with words of encouragement, gifts and of her time. At Christmas time she would hand out all the Christmas gifts before opening her own and she was always happy with whatever she received. Christmas 2021 she watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation for the very first time. Needless to say, she laughed uncontrollably at the scenes. Anyone who knew Ciasha knew that she liked to eat. There were times that she was up all night watching Netflix movies on her iPhone and getting up to eat every two hours like a newborn baby! Her favorite food was anything seafood and she and AJ loved a spicy seafood boil! Ciasha was a woman with a child-like heart. Sometimes she would stay up late with AJ and watch movies with him in bed. When she was a child one of her favorite past times was watching the movie Babe over and over again with her beloved grandmother, Erminia. She also loved to watch reruns of I Love Lucy! Ciasha loved to dance, dressing up, wearing her favorite wigs, and showing off her latest tattoo. Her tattoos were many and varied. They included a peacock, stars, flowers, butterflies, a unicorn pony and the names of her family. Ciasha like to travel and take short trips. She and her bestie, Drew liked to do special outings with the boys such as Santa Monica, Universal Studios and Pismo Beach. They would also take the boys to see the Christmas lights and to eat Teppanyaki at their favorite Japanese restaurant. Ciasha is survived by her parents Anna Marie Jauregui and Carl Clayborn, son A.J. Smith, her sisters Tiounia, Sierra, Lunden, brothers, Lavont and Armon. She is also survived by her Godmother Angela Pelzer, Godfather Darryl Thomas, God sister Quanitra Hollingsworth, her bestie Drew Thomas, God son, Louis Burrell, her Tia's Sylvia and Nancy Jauregui, and many, many more cousins, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and friends too numerous to mention. She is also survived by her fur baby, Charlie. Ciasha has now been reunited with her grandparents who went before her, but most importantly she was received into the Kingdom of Heaven and into the arms of our Heavenly father. We, the family of Ciasha would like to thank the staff at Kaweah Delta Medical Center for caring for her during her medical stay, as they provided her with excellent care. Additionally, we would like to thank her friends, who have shown their continued support with visits, calls, texts, cards and fundraisers. Drew, Amanda, K.Y, Kat, Johanna, Renee, Sam, Teircie, Alyx, Rose, Gio, Pilar, Rosie, Victor, Abel, Sontino, Tosha, Antwone, Nicki and her friends at The Lacy, you will always be in our hearts.
