Antonia E Murrieta Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

The beloved, Antonia Edna Murrieta was born February 16, 1944 and passed away at 77 years of age on December 3, 2021. Her family lost their beautiful angel due to respiratory failure. She is now reunited with her husband, Lionel Murrieta, Sr. She is survived by her sisters, Mary Saucedo, Virginia Sedillo, Lola Reyes and her only brother, Ruben Reyes. She is also survived by her four children Lionel, Joaquin, LoriAnn and Stevie. Also surviving are many grandchildren as well as great grandchildren. Antonia aka Nena/Toni and her husband created a life and home in Tulare, California where they shared and created many memories with their family. Her most proud name was Mom. She was "mom" not only to her own children, but to four of her grandchildren which she raised; Lionel III, Michael, Eric, and Viviana. Her true joy and purpose in life were her children. Nena's kids, grandkids and great grandkids were her everything and she made sure everyone felt her love. She was loved and adored by everyone so easily. Her outgoing personality and her sense of humor always lit up a room. She loved to dance her heart out to her favorite Mexican music any time or any place. Nena was known and loved for many things, and one of those things is her famous strawberry cake. No one will ever forget her strawberry birthday cakes that she made with such love. To say that Nena had the biggest heart is an understatement! Her home and heart were always open to anyone in need. Her willingness to help others was immeasurable. Her family will never be the same without her, as she was the backbone and glue of the family. Each person who got to know her and love her can completely understand why. Antonia Murrieta will never be forgotten. Her name lives on and will forever be cherished by many. This is not a goodbye but a "See you soon." Visitation will be held 5 PM - 5:30 PM Saturday, December 18th, 2021 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Service Of Remembrance services will be held 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM Saturday, December 18th, 2021 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
