Alfredo Jimenez Duran

March 2, 1956 - January 14, 2022

On Friday January 14th, 2022 Alfredo "Fred" "Freddy" Jimenez Duran, 65, of Visalia CA passed away in his home surrounded by his loved ones. Fred was born on March 2nd, 1956 in Upland, CA to Damian and Aurora Duran. He is preceded in Death by his father Damian "Babe" Duran. He is survived by Lola, his mother. Debbie, his wife of 35 years, and their children: Jessica (Omar), Joey, Sarah, Sam, Becca, Bunny (Dustin). His Grandchildren: Zayne, Kaila, Meeko, and Millie. Sisters and Brothers: Anita (Bernie), Dodie, Kent (Janis). Along with many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. Fred grew up in Upland, CA and graduated from Upland High. He married his soul mate and best friend Debbie in 1987. Fred and Debbie planted roots in Visalia in 1991 where they raised their 6 children. Fred worked as a Journeyman Lineman for Southern California Edison for 35 years . He loved everything about his trade and his Edison brothers. Fred had a love for classic trucks, motorcycles, ATC's, Hot Rods, and pretty much anything that had an engine and wheels. He loved doing projects around the house, mowing his lawns, and building anything and everything for just about anyone. In the 65 years Fred was with us, he had an abundance of stories of his life experiences and his fair share of jokes (which his grandkids have now inherited). He had a zest for life and loved his family so dearly. Fred was a beloved Husband, Father, Son, Papa, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend. He will be terribly missed by everyone that knew him. A Celebration of Life for Fred will be held on March 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Duran residence.
