Waltraud Ella Crumley

Waltraud "Trudy" Ella Crumley was born on April 15, 1937. It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of our Mom, Oma and Nana who passwed away on February 14, 2025. She was known for her unwavering love for her family and could always be counted on when anyone needed help. Trudy was born in Germany, and after her marriage, she moved to the United States with her family. After her husband's military career ended, they settled in Lynnwood, Washington, where she spent most of her life. She moved to Visalia, California 15 years ago to be closer to her daughter. Trudy worked for many years at a convenience store. She loved being around people, always greeting everyone with a smile and brightening everyone's day with her cheerfulness and kindness. She touched so many people's lives with her genuine affection. Trudy collected German clocks, Hummel figurines, and always enjoyed shopping at the German store in the Seattle area for her favorite foods. Some of her hobbies were gardening, watching hummingbirds, listening to music, watching old western movies and playing her lotto, always looking for that big win. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest treasure and she cherished every moment spent with them. Trudy was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Marie Zuhlke; her brothers, Alfred and Manfred Zuhlke; her son, Richard Crumley; her ex-husband, Phillip Crumley; and her daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Crumley. She is survived by her daughter, Rita (Tom) Hamon; her sons, Fred (Kathy) Crumley, Phillip Crumley and Ellie Riley; daughter-in-law, Karen Crumley; her brother, Willi (Bettina) Zuhlke; her sisters-in-law, Ella and Renate Zuhlke; her grandsons, Tom Junior (Susan) Hamon and Patrick (Samantha) Hamon; her granddaughters, Kalany (Tanner) Hockley, Hilary, Molly, Marie and Emma Crumley; her great granddaughters, Hailey and McKenzie Hamon, Jaidyn Calanche; her great grandsons, Jordan Neff and John Hockley, and various other family members. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. Trudy will be cremated and will have two Celebrations of Life, one in Visalia and one in the state of Washington.
