Then he said, Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom." Jesus answered him, "truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise." (Luke 23:42-43) Spring represents a new beginning, a new awakening, and a new life. In spring the birds sing and the bees hum a melody reflected off of God's love. God's smile is in the light of the sun descending down from his Son above. As the light from Heaven descended onto earth Logan's soul ascended up. On March 28, 2018 God called home his son and our brother Vasquez Shonte Logan to live in grace, love, and peace for eternity. On July 10, 1984, Brother Logan was born to Ola Mae Standmore. Ola Mae provided Logan the love that any mother would give her son. She provided him with unconditional loved, and a ton of hugs, kisses, and food. Anita Paul and Jr. Gonzales took Logan in and helped raise him as one of their own. Jr. provided for Logan and gave him the love and support that any father would give his son. The love that Jr. shared with Logan was shown the most in the love that Logan had for his kids. Brother Logan is remembered by, his wife Vianna and six children Tatiyanna, Hannah, Aubrieanna, Allieanna, Jonah, and Noah Logan. He is also, remembered by his brothers Robert Skipper, Johnpaul Standmore, Esau Howard, and Able Gonzales. Plus, Logan's eight beautiful sisters Demetria Perkins, Joanna Marieorona, Diane Gonzales Tadlock, Melissa Gonzales, Brittani Jefferson, Brianna Jefferson, Juanita Tuner, and final Dianne Davis. Logan loved spending time in the wilderness with his family. He loved the animals and the peace nature had to offer. Looking over a mountaintop Logan would become breathless when he viewed all of God's creations. He would look back at his family, and tell his wife and Children how amazing God is. God was always first in Logan's life and family followed second. Logan loved his kids before they were born and his love for them will continue on. Logan's love for his wife will always be felt and remembered. His wife Vianna meant the world to him. Logan was thankful that God allowed him the opportunity to work for Aerospace. He was a union rep and he enjoyed helping his brothers at work. He took pride in providing for his family, but he loved providing them with the word of God. In fact, if he could, he would spread the Good News around the world. Logan would keep the Lord's message simple and say true love is God's and Jesus will never leave you alone. Our brother Logan, will always be forever loved and treasured in our hearts. We love you and can not wait to see you again. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. (1 John 4:16) We love you Logan and we can't wait to see you again.
