Tina Marie Moody

Tina Marie (Correa) Moody passed peacefully at home on Friday November 5th, 2021. Tina was born in Visalia on June 22, 1960 to Barbara Jean Borges and Domingos "Dink" Correa Jr. She was the middle child of three and a troublemaker from the start. She was an avid animal lover from day one. Being born and raised on her family's Dairy farm was a dream come true for this little cowgirl. Horses, Corgi's, Goats, and cattle where her passion. She rode with the Visalia Rockettes for over a decade, traveling up and down the state of California competing in drill team competitions. Junior Rodeo-ed with SJCA from 1975-1979 competing in Goat Tying, Pole Bending, and Barrel Racing. She won the Goat Tying Championship Buckle in 1979. She attended and graduated Mt. Whitney High School 1978, where she was active in FFA and held the honor of FFA Sweetheart. She loved the thrill of competition which she continued to do as an active member of the ACTRA Team Roping Association. From first sight Tina's heart belonged to her daughter Megan and son Craig. She raised her two kids to be as strong willed, kind, loving, and outgoing as she was. She taught them to be their own people, work hard, and never take no for an answer. Tina was not only Mom to Megan and Craig but also Mom to all of their friends and anyone who needed one. Along with Tina's two kids she had her best friend and partner in life Kirk Bailey by her side. They enjoyed many years together traveling, hunting, and riding horses anywhere they could. Tina had a true love for agriculture and worked for 16 plus years as a Brand Inspector for the State of California. She retired early from the state to enjoy everything life had to offer. However, she continued her passion for livestock by working a few days a week at the Visalia Livestock Market. This allowed her to maintain her lifelong friendships and even make some new ones. Tina held a strong conviction that one should always put family first, everything else will be there tomorrow. Her Kids, Grandson's, Niece's, Nephew's, and family were always put before any challenges life threw at her, and there were plenty of obstacles in her path. Tina's Legacy will continue living on through her daughter Megan and Son-in-Law Dean Vlazakis, Son Craig and Daughter-in-law Jessica Moody, Grandson's John Martin and Jack Charles Moody. She is survived by her Sister Clarise and Howard Dilbeck, Godson and Nephew Christopher and Elizabeth Dilbeck, children Alice and Gwen, Niece Cherice and Ben Galbraith, children Sage and James. Brother Kevin and Ashli Correa, Godson and Nephew Gavin Correa. She is also survived by many other family and close friends, whom she held close to her heart. She is now joined in Heaven with her Mother Barbara Correa-King, Father Domingos "Dink" Correa Jr., and Great-Nephew Wyatt Lee Dilbeck; as well as many other family members who had gone before her. A service will be held on Thursday November 18th, 2021 10:00 am at the Neighborhood Church 5505 W. Riggin Ave, Visalia, CA. Following the services all are welcome and requested to attend a celebration of life at Kotinos Farms, 30312 Road 196, Exeter, CA. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
