Teresa Lopez Luna

Teresa Lopez Luna was born on October 14, 1946 in Ysleta, Texas to Felipe Castro Lopez and Maria Raquel Corralejo Lopez. Teresa went with the Lord on March 22, 2025. She passed away in her home surrounded by her family. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, son Candelario Luna III, daughter Andrea Luna, grandson Robert Mucio Luna, and her husband of fifty-six years Candelario Benegas Luna. Teresa leaves behind six children: Joe (Betty) Luna of Porterville, CA., Rudy (Dyan) Luna of Royston, GA., Candelario (Debra) Luna Jr., Amelia Luna, Richard Luna, and Gloria (David) Luna-Lawson all of Visalia, CA. Teresa also has one brother Marcos (Anna) Lopez and two sisters Estella (Tony) Cantu and Maria Pacheco all of Visalia, CA. Teresa moved to Visalia in 1964 from El Paso, Texas. She worked in health care for many years. Teresa began her work as a Health Program Assistant for the County of Tulare Health and Human Services in 1989, where she made many friends and helped numerous patients. Working with the public was a job Teresa loved and excelled in. In addition to raising a family and working, Teresa was an active member of Holy Family Catholic church. Teresa was a lecturer, a member of the Spanish Cursillo Group, a member of the Guadalupana Society, and a CCD teacher for over thirty years. Teresa's hobbies included her ministries, baking, and spending time with her family and friends. She lived a life of servitude and loved helping others. Teresa will be deeply missed by her family and the many lives she touched throughout her lifetime. What brings us peace during this difficult time is knowing she is in heaven with our past loved ones resting in eternal glory. Viewing will be held 4-6pm Tuesday, April 15th, 2025 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia, with the Rosary to be prayed at 6pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30am Wednesday, April 16th, 2025 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 608 N. Church Street, Visalia with burial to follow at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia. A Reception will be held 12-5pm Wednesday, April 16th, 2025 at Salser & Dillard Life Event Center, 135 E Caldwell Ave, Visalia. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
