Salvador Delgado

Our loving father, Salvador Delgado "Don Chava" was born June 3, 1954 in Mexico. He was an outstanding family man with an incredible work ethic and loved by so many in his family and community. He is second to the youngest of 8 brothers and sisters: Abigail, Beatriz, Refugio, Alfonso, Ruben, Rogelio, and Amelia. Don Chava married the love of is life, our mom Lucero, in 1977 and had 3 children: Gaby, Lupita, and Salvador, Jr. Our parents were married for 42 years and all those years dad spent them side by side with mom. Don Chava was also the most loving and proud grandpa to Damian. He owned his own business which is now so lovingly being taken care of by our brother Sal Jr and our mom. He worked hard to provide a beautiful home to mom and our family. He was the pillar of our family and all his extended family. He would give his shirt off his back to help his friend, neighbor and family members. Don Chava loved his friends and was an avid horseshoe player. His loss cuts so deep but we remember him with so much love and care. His legacy will live on through all our family and friends. Nuestro querido papa, Salvador Delgado "Don Chava" nacio el 3 de junio del 1954 en Mexico. El fue un hombre ejemplar, muy responsable, y muy trabajador. El amaba a su familia y a su comunidad. El era de los mas chicos de su familia de 8 hermanos y hermanas: Abigail, Beatriz, Refugio, Alfonso, Ruben, Rogelio, Amelia. Don Chava se case con el gran amor de su vida, nuestra madre Lucero, en el 1977 y tuvo 3 hijos: Gaby, Lupita, y Salvador Jr. Nuestros padres estuvieron casados por 42 anos y todos esos anos estuvieron siempre juntos. Don Chava tambien fue un gran y amoroso abuelo para su pequeno nieto, Damian. El tenia su negocio propio que ahora seguira con la misma atencion por su hijo Salvador, Jr y por nuestra mama. Don Chava trabajo mucho para proveer un hermoso hogar para nuestra mama y familia. El fue el pilar de todos nosotros. El hacia hasta lo imposible para ayudar a su familia y amistades. El apreciaba muchos a sus vecinos y amigos. Le gustaba mucho jugar herraduras. Su perdida es tan dolorosa pero lo recordamos con mucho carino y su legado seguira con todos nosotros.
