Our Father, Ruben Castillo Jr., born February 21, 1971 passed away Friday September 10, 2021. Dad passed away only four days after his mother and our family's matriarch Consuelo Castillo (Nana) both of complications from Covid-19. Our Hearts are forever broken with the loss of this man for whom words will never be enough to describe for anyone who ever crossed his path. Our dad will be remembered for so many of his amazing attributes some of which were, first and foremost, his over-the-top sense of humor, his sharing of anything and everything he had to give, his enormous heart � not just for his family but for everyone in his life no matter how distant or close they were. He looked out for everyone he loved and was always there for you no matter what. That was our dad the man you could turn to for anything. It filled his heart to do for others when he could. For us he was the Best Dad anyone could ever ask for. For others he was the best brother, best son, best tio, best papa and best friend you could ever have in your life. He will be deeply missed every day of our lives but will always be with us in our hearts and the many memories we all shared having been blessed to have him for the precious time God granted us. Ruben was preceded in death by his father Ruben B. Castillo (Papa), his sister Deborah Saenz/Castillo (Debbie/Peaches) and his mother Consuelo S. Castillo (Nana). He is survived by his fianc� Julie Wallace, his daughters Irene Aguila, Eileen Castillo (Hopey), his son Adam Castillo (Bear) his sister Linda Lopez (Billy) and his four grandsons Matthew, Nathan, Julian and Xavier. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends he considered to be his family. "Thank you, Dad � for EVERYTHING. You were the best and we love you. GO RAMS!! Services will be on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 10:00am at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel located at 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia, CA 93277. Burial will follow at Visalia Cemetery located at 1300 W. Goshen Ave., in Visalia CA, 93291. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
