Ralph Williams

Ralph Williams was born on July 25, 1952 to Clarence and Hellen Williams in Houston Texas. Ralph graduated from Booker T Washington High School in Houston, Special Education Class of 1969. After the death of his parents, he and his brother Bruce lived with their brother-in-law Kenneth Johnson who was in the military, and their sister Pat Johnson and their 2 children. Ralph joined the Job Corp Utah in 1974 and after returning home, he joined the program for special needs adults through Kings County Rehabilitation Center. Ralph lived at the Care Home of Llyod and Clara Burdine in Hanford, California where he worked at the Kings County Rehab for 25 years. He had many lasting relationships there, and when Llyod and Clara retired Ralph was devastated, but the new owners Catherine Smith and her husband expressed loving kindness to Ralph and all the clints. In 2008 Ralph had a heart attack and was diagnosed with a heart disease, and needed to be in a Care Home where he could get medical attention. Gail and Jan Care Home in Tulare/Visalia accepted Ralph and he was very happy there. They took him to various places and had patience with him when he had challenges. He lived there for 18 years until his transition from this life on April 23, 2026. He had many friends in Hanford and Visalia who cared for him, especially Nellie. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Sherman Pierce and Bruce Williams, great-great nephew Ja'Veon and great-great niece Naomi. He leaves to celebrate his life and memory his sister Pat Johnson, brother Donald Williams, brother-in-law Pastor Ken Johnson, nieces: Kelsey Fields, Trelidia Johnson, and Olya Keys, great nieces: Paige, Sydnee, Kylee, Haylee, great nephew: Kamorin, great-great nephews: Josiah, Kallin and Gunnar, great son-in-law's: Anthony Fields, Tommie Keys, and great daughter-in-law Brianne Goode. Also a host of nephews and nieces. The Lord provided a great life for Ralph with lots of favor. We thank God for him being a part of our lives knowing we will see him again whole healthy and happy. Visitation will be held 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM Thursday, May 14th, 2026 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Funeral services will follow at 10:30 AM. Graveside services will be held 12:00 PM Thursday, May 14th, 2026 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
