Paul Cvetkovich

Paul V Cvetkovich March 28, 1945 - July 16, 2022 Paul was born on March 28, 1945 to Velimir Cvetkovich and Zlata Petrovich in Ried im Innkreis, Austria. He joined the Army in 1963. During his time in the Army, he earned the National Defense Medal and received many accommodations from various levels of military personnel for the excellence of his work. Paul married Gudrun and together had two daughters, Tatjana and Danielle. Paul worked for North Island in San Diego, CA before he was transferred to Lemoore, CA. He traveled extensively all over the world to work as a civilian contractor for the military, working on their fighter aircraft. After working for North Island, Paul became a private contractor working on the military fighter aircraft specializing in the FA-18 Fighter Jets. Paul and Karen Swallow were married in 1994 and settled in Visalia, CA. Paul owned the Corner Bar which was a known Clamper Bar. He was the "Clamper Humbug" of the area. While being a part of the E Clampus Vitus, he helped to orchestrate many historical recognitions including the plaque located on the old site of the Visalia Stock Saddle Co which is now the site of Brewbakers on Main Street. The Clamper organization was very active in raising funds for several charities. Paul enjoyed Hunting and Fishing in Alaska. At Paul's favorite fishing place in Alaska, people say that "Paul caught and set the record for the biggest fish that got away!" Paul loved to socialize at the Santa Fe Bar where he had many friends to share the stories of his life. Paul was loved by many people throughout the years. He will be missed greatly by all. Paul is survived by: Sisters Maria Kunac and Joanne Petrovich, Daughters Tatjana Jensen and Danielle Cvetkovich, Step Son Michael Studds, and Grandchildren Brenna, Aaron, Jacob, Rebecca and Great Grandchild en route. Viewing will be held 8 AM - 10 AM Monday, August 1st, 2022 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Funeral services will be held 10 AM - 11 AM Monday, August 1st, 2022 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be held 12:00 PM Monday, August 1st, 2022 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
